Falling for Autumn in the Berkshires

Your Guide to Unforgettable Fall Experiences

As the temperatures begin to lower and the breeze becomes a bit more crisp, the change of the season signals a round of new activities to enjoy in Williamstown. We’re sharing some of our favorite fall ventures to help usher in the new season as we mark our first autumn on Spring Street.

Hiking

The Berkshires offer a plethora of hiking options for the outdoor enthusiast or a casual weekend adventurer. Fall is the perfect time of year to be outside; cooler temperatures, crisp air, and bright blue skies. Williamstown and our surrounding area is home to many unique trails to help you take pleasure in the outdoors. Areas that you can visit during your next trip include the Taconic Trail State Park, Mountain Meadow Preserve, and Field Farm Reservation.

Football Games

Join us on Saturdays this fall before the Williams College Ephs Football games for delicious tailgating favorites accompanied by beer and wine. Available for purchase starting a few hours before each home game, we’ll be serving up our twist on the most popular football snacks.

Look for us on our front lawn by the entrance of the football stadium and can’t wait to celebrate with you before the big games. For more information, please visit our Facebook page.

Leaf Peeping

We can all agree that some of the best fall foliage and leaf-peeping is to be seen right here in our very own Williamstown. Peak colors are predicted to be seen the first week in October throughout the Berkshires. One of our favorite views of the colors is right from our patio by the fire pit looking out on Spring Street.

Enjoy the local bounty and pick your own fruits and vegetables, choose a pumpkin for carving, take a hayride through the orchards, and so much more.
